We work with only the best quality stones

MOST POPULAR STONES WE WORK WITH

  • Granite

Granite is the hardest natural stone which makes it the most prominent stone used for countertops in homes and businesses. Granite has a natural resistance to weather, making it a good choice for outdoor surfaces. When polished, granite stones create a mirror like surface which makes it extremely popular in project remodels. Granite is also used for wall cladding, roofing, flooring and a variety of other interior and exterior applications. Due to its porous nature, sealers are used to protect granite from absorbing spills.

  • Marble

Marble is a beautiful addition to your home and is one of the most elegant materials you can choose. Marble comes in a variety of colors including white, gray, black, yellow, pink and green to name a few. Marble is resistant to heat and is also water proof. With all of its elegance and strengths, marble does have its weaknesses. Marble is a porous material, meaning it is easy to trap dirt and germs. Marble can also be somewhat fragile and possibly chip or cracked with stress. Its porous nature allows Marble to be stained quite easily with wine, vinegar and acidic juices. Marble needs to be sealed immediately after installation to protect against staining.

  • Engineered Stone

Engineered stones are man made and have generally become referred to as 'Quartz' slabs. They are comprised of 93% crushed quartz and 7% resin binding it together with various pigments to give it a distinctive appearance. There are many different brands but all use virtually the same formula. This is not to be confused with 'quartzite', which is a natural stone with similar properties to granite. These quartz surfaces and countertops offer a great combination of form and function allowing a durable and practical countertop. For people who want an extremely uniform appearance, engineered stone comes in a varitey of color.
